Joaquin County issued its ruling on the pending Motions
for Summary Judgment in the Vice v. State Farm
lawsuit. The decision was not favorable to NASFA.

Us Your E-mail Address
NASFA
has resolved to communicate more efficiently in 2008.
That means using more e-mail, so we're updating our
database with as many members' e-mail addresses as
possible. Please provide a personal e-mail
address, not a statefarm.com address.
Part of the Plan
Does State Farm have
a plan to force agents on old contracts to
retire? Those who remember what happened with
auto insurance in New
Jersey seem to think
so. The current writing restrictions in Florida
seem eerily familiar.
NASFA remains the only
association exclusively focused on issues faced by
independent contractor State Farm agents. If you're
looking for answers, you're not
alone. You'll find help as in NASFA membership
as you share the experience of thousands of your peers.
NASFA is appealing the decision of Vice v.
State Farm in California to determine
whether the independent contractor agencies
owned by State Farm agents should
be subject to California franchise laws.
If successful, the suit could have far-reaching,
positive effects for agents.
