NASFA needs to provide more services to aid members and attract new members. NASFA is a professional association to help State Farm independent contractor agents grow professionally, grow their agencies and promote the products of State Farm Insurance Companies.
We realize State Farm is pushing more and more responsibility onto agents in the daily operation of their offices. With all the financial service products agents are expected to market and sell, agents and their staffs must be highly trained for the daily operation of the office. Agents' staff must now be licensed to even talk to an underwriter.
Today, every contact with a client can be a sales opportunity and clerical staff is becoming a thing of the past. Agents need to understand they are in charge and own one of the larger small businesses in their communities. If agents are to survive and grow, they need much more help and services than what is currently provided by State Farm.
